Blessed with good weather, it’s been great to get out to all our events we had planned so far (hopefully that won’t jinx it!)
Barbury was our first one – amazing to have this brilliant local event back on the calendar and a perfect early season run. Hazard Z was the star of the show coming 7th in the ON and Global Typhoon also came out strong, posting a good clear round in the novice cross country.
Next we headed to Oxtalls and all four horses felt good. It was first runs for MBF Jackpot and FDA She’s so Dignified in the 100 – both felt nice and confident, and finished just outside the top 10. Hazard Z put in another strong performance for 4th in the ON and Global Typhoon just tapped a rail, in an otherwise good run in the novice.
Our 6yo Fly had a great time at Tweseldown training competition – it’s such a good competition for young horses, and we were thrilled how confidently he came out to cruise round the 90. He is now looking for his next home, if anyone is looking for a lovely horse to enjoy.
Next week sees us head to Blue Chip Championships with 5 horses and then we continue our busy spring eventing campaign. Lots to look forward to!
