Hugo was a once in a lifetime horse and real part of the family here at Meridianway Stud.
We very sadly had to say goodbye to him in the spring of 2020 when wear and tear caught up with him and he deteriorated rapidly.
Purchased as a 5YO from Carol Gee, Kate & Hugo rose through the ranks together and learnt so much. He gave Kate her first appearance for Team GB in former 2* Championships. They then went onto three 5* completions, with the highlight being Badminton in 2018, where they finished as best GB first-timers and put in a fantastic cross country round. He was a jumping machine and gave us many wonderful rounds at the very highest level, along with picking up top placings throughout his career.
Career highlights
European 2* (now CCI3*L) GB team member in 2011, top 20 finish.

We purchased Molly at the beginning of the 2020 season and she is another one bought from the Stronge family. We trial hunted her throughout the 2021/2022 season, which proved her absolute forte and we are delighted that she has been sold to a great hunting home!

Mr Rebel (Rebel)– the horse that really started to put Kate on the map and took her to her first 4* competitions. Well placed at a number of Intermediate and Advanced competitions and several good performances at 3* and 4* level.
