First up Moreton Morrell novice with KEC Delicate Girl (Delphi) and Hazard Z (Harry). Delphi had a little ‘moment’ in the dressage coming back from her left medium canter which she struggles with. A shame after doing a super test for the rest of it. Harry doing a lovely test but had an uncharacteristic two rails. Both went steadily xc but put in faultless performances. So really good consolidating runs for both of them.
On to Cirencester UA with the two young mares. Don’t Look Back (Molly) did a 31 test and double clear to finish 4th. Now placed in 3 out of 4 of her first events. Clever girl. Meridianway Pride’s Princess did another very solid test for 33. 1 unlucky rail and a green stop xc at a spooky bright blue wagon off a turn. But she is definitely going in the right direction and making progress, hugely helped by the Cool, Calm & Collected supplement from EquiFeast UK
Meridianway Ramzes Boy was at Keysoe International with Matt Heath Eventing and put in an exciting performance coming 15th in his first international 2* short in very competitive company
